Netball Reward Trip to Saracens Maverick vs Cardiff Dragons Match
On Saturday, 1 June, our amazing Park High netball students had the exciting opportunity to watch the Saracens Maverick vs. Cardiff Dragons game in the Netball Super League at Hertfordshire Sports Village. The students were given the special privilege of being the guard of honour, proudly waving flags and getting up close with the players as they entered the court.
One of the highlights of the day was when Daria Loghin, a Year 7 student, impressively won a signed netball from the entire Saracens team in a half-time quiz; which added to the excitement of the day.
The game itself was thrilling, with the Cardiff Dragons taking control from the outset. They established a commanding 17-6 lead by the end of the first quarter and maintained their dominance throughout the match, ultimately securing a 63-43 victory. Both teams delivered stunning performances, making it an exhilarating experience for all who attended.
Our students were also fortunate enough to have a photo with the Saracens team at the end of the game. The entire event was not only fun but also inspirational, encouraging our students to improve their netball skills and deepen their passion and curiosity for the sport.
