A Level Business Trip
On Tuesday 15th November 2023, our Year 13 Business students visited the Wembley Stadium for a workshop and Stadium tour. Our A Level students had to apply to take part in the trip by submitting a report based to the PESTLE analysis and how these factors impacted Wembley Stadium. The factors included a wide range of examples including Euro finals 2020, the equality movement and sustainability. The trip provided a perfect blend of educational value and fun.
Students started with a 90-minute workshop on PESTLE analysis. Our students learnt about the key external factors (Political, Economic, Sociological, Technological, Legal and Environmental) that influence an organisation. The PESTLE analysis can be used in a range of different scenarios, and can guide people professionals and senior managers in strategic decision-making.
Students then had a guided tour of the stadium where they had access to the changing rooms, the pitch side, and the royal box.
The FA very kindly offered a place to one of our student's siblings as a player escort for the England Vs Malta match and some free tickets!
The visit not only enhanced their academic knowledge but also nurtured skills such as teamwork, resilience, and cultural awareness.
